Sarah Beth Cooper, LPC, NCC, holds a Master of Science in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mississippi State University. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Mississippi and a nationally certified counselor.
As a trauma-informed and trauma-trained therapist, Sarah Beth specializes in addressing the deep-rooted effects of trauma on mental health. She has experience counseling clients facing trauma-related disorders such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), as well as co-occurring challenges including anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, emotional regulation, interpersonal conflicts, self-harm, and life transitions. While Sarah Beth works with children, adolescents, and adults, she specializes in helping children.
Sarah Beth’s approach is rooted in creating a genuine, empathetic, nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship with each client. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, with an emphasis on person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
